WHAT OUR RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES HAVE TO SAY ABOUT US
“I wanted to thank and commend all the staff at Cedarwood for the exceptional job everyone has done managing Covid 19.
These have not been easy times for anyone, especially those managing a seniors residence but Cedarwood was very proactive from the start and has continued to manage the situation well.
As a resident, my mother, Erika, has enjoyed your facility (more then I think she thought she would!) and has made many good new friends, both other residents and staff.
Again, you efforts have not gone unnoticed and are much appreciated.”

“Just wanted to pass on our appreciation to the administration and staff at The Hamlets at Cedarwood Station, for your handling of the Covid-19 issues. You have always done the best possible job for all the residents. We have seen so many of you go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of each and every resident. Cedarwood has researched thoroughly the circumstances surrounding the numerous concerns we all have for our loved ones and you have clearly communicated this to their families. With this I feel a little recognition in in order. We fully understand that things are not the way anyone wants them to be and while we agree to this, we want everyone to stay safe. We appreciate you all so much! Hoping things get easier while still being safe, soon. Thanks again for all you and everyone at Cedarwood is doing now and will continue to do!”

“There is so many wonderful things to say about every aspect I don’t know where to start. When we first explored they were extremely knowledgeable about more than just the community of Cedarwood. So helpful, accommodating and understanding, and now that Sam is living here nothing has changed. The family at Cedarwood has been wonderful at learning how to navigate communication challenges and have helped make a home. And when I say family I mean from residence to the ladies at the front, the staff in the kitchen and dinning room, the afternoon and evening crew and of course to the handyman that does it all it seems (I’m not naming names because there’s too many and I wouldn’t want to miss anyone). Thank you so much to you all for everything you do each and every day. I do believe anyone who chose to make Cedarwood their home would be very happy. And Sam agrees!”

“Cedarwood Station has been an excellent retirement facility for my wife and I the past 6 years.”
“We moved from back east to be closer to our daughters and their families. Of primary importance was a place for my mother (88) who had been living with us since my father’s passing. How lucky we were to find Cedarwood Station. When we were in the preliminary stages of checking things out we dealt with Shannon Fetterly. Even though we weren’t quite ready to move, Shannon stayed in touch and kept us in the loop regarding vacancies, etc. Since my mom has moved in, she couldn’t be happier. We couldn’t be happier. This from a woman who wanted to stay back east, a die hard Maritimer. She tells all of her friends how great Cedarwood is. To Shannon and all of the staff, thank you for your genuine caring. It’s a great comfort knowing that mom is surrounded by “family”

“The staff here are absolutely phenomenal, my father lives here and I can honestly say that his life has changed for the better. He has a sense of home and community here that he didn’t receive at other living facilities and honestly this place shouldn’t be considered a living facility, as it is so much more than that. Thanks to cedar wood station my father has gained a new sense of independence, normalcy, and life.”

“I just want to thank all of the staff there from the bottom of my heart. Her years at Cedarwood were so happy and as she often said, “I feel like the Queen of England.” She was always always treated with respect and care and concern for her physical and emotional wellbeing. Everyone there made Cedarwood mom’s home – not just a place to live.”
~ D. Lee
“Cedarwood Station has proved to be the perfect place for Mom and Dad…
This kind and caring crew make Cedarwood a home, not just a place to live”
~ S. VanRiper
“My Mom, Joan L. lived at Cedarwood Station for 5 years. In that time, she made many friends among the other residents and staff. She has now moved to a more secure facility due to her dementia but still talks of the people there. She may have forgotten their names but tells many stories of how they made her life so much better! Not just taking time out of their busy days to visit with her but ensuring she would have a laugh or a smile every so often, every day! The drives on the bus, the chocolates (one for each hand, of course) the encouragement, the that included holding her hand or giving a hug or just pictures they shared ( sometimes drew), and friendliness that to this day makes her smile often. We can’t thank the staff, all of them, for going above and beyond, to show so much caring, friendship, and help each and every day to all residents! Awesome hearts!!
Thank you all for all you do!!”
